Vom 25. Juli bis 1. August 2015 fanden in dem kleinen, autofreien und nur mit der Seilbahn oder zu Fuss erreichbaren Bergdorf Rasa (Centovalli) Malferien zum Ausruhen und Entdecken der Tessiner Schönheit mit dem Pinsel statt. Bei Ausflügen ins Maggiatal und nach Ascona liess sich die Palette um vielerlei Steinfarben und das Glitzern des Lago Maggiore am Mittag erweitern. Den festlichen Abschluss der Woche bildete eine Vernissage im Rocca-Saal in Rasa, gekrönt von der Klangmalerei eines der Teilnehmer auf dem Klavier und mit vielen Gästen aus dem Dorf. Eine runde, bunte und schöne Woche! Auch im nächsten Jahr soll es im August einen Ruhepunkt mit Farbtupfen wie diesen geben…
From July 25 until August 1 a holiday for recreation and painting took place in the tiny village of Rasa, in southern Switzerland. Rasa, high up in the mountains of the Centovalli, can only be reached by cable railway or by foot and is free of any car traffic. The beauty of the landscape found its way onto the paper in the colors of the stones, the golden alpine meadows and (on a day trip) the glittering sunlight on Lago Maggiore. A little exhibition of our paintings, soundcolored by one of the participants on the piano, was shown on the last day, inviting all the people of the village. A great and colorful time! Also next year in August there will be a week like this…
